“Everybody Likes Pie” hit the internet running this week. This script was written specifically for the Sketchies II competition on YouTube. We loved this short after the final edit as it definitely shows a different comedic side of the Faction. The film was shot over two days on a highway in Georgia.
A YouTube user by the name of ataturk777 gave a great review of the short calling it “an outstanding piece, starting as a mini-”road” movie, then becoming a lighthearted comedy, and then turning unexpectedly–and brilliantly–to horror, proceeding shortly almost to allegory, and then turning into–and finishing as–a human-interest tale, with a humorously-stated–but unmistakable–moral that we never really know–and can never really know–the people we encounter, and that we had best be careful. a tribute to the most simple relationships as the best kind, as well. ”

How To Treat Your Boss hit the Funny or Die homepage after it’s debut on Tuesday! We are very excited about this because fans got it there by voting for it. It popped up in the HOT RIGHT NOW section & hopefully it will stay HOT a little while longer.We really like the idea behind Funny Or Die. Will Ferrell has a good thing going over there with a voting system that stands apart from YouTube & the copycats. Maybe one day we will make his monthly picks. I guess we will settle for this homepage feature right now though.
