The Woodcreek Faction is a comedy group based in Atlanta, Georgia which produces content for the web, TV, & film. They are notably one of the very few comedy teams writing, acting, filming, editing, and producing their work completely independently. Since 2006, the official website has received 13.8 million visitors while their work has achieved over 20 million views online.
Initially achieving success on sites such as eBaum’s World and Drew Curtis’ FARK, The Woodcreek Faction established a channel on a new site called YouTube. In just a few months, their audience grew enough to propel YouTube editors to feature the prank “Regular Hamburger” on YouTube’s homepage. The very first drive-thru prank ever featured on YouTube. Since that time, their work has been regularly featured on YouTube. The group’s work has also been featured on the homepages of online hotspots such as Just for Laughs, Stupid Videos, Revver, Funny or Die, MySpace, eBaum’s World, Cracked, College Humor, Atom, VH1.com, and Revver Live.
The Woodcreek Faction has enjoyed success on TV as well with shorts broadcasted on Online Nation, G4TV Canada’s Torrent, Comedy Central’s ATOM TV, VH1’s Nocturnal State, and On Demand television. G4TV Canada’s Torrent interviewed The Woodcreek Faction in a feature focusing on their cutting edge humor.
The Woodcreek Faction have a total of 9 official film festival selections to date.
