Bunny Skates, Recession Santa, Wrong Tree, Wrong Time hit the screens at the 2010 Rome International Film Festival this weekend. These three shorts will be a part of an block showing at Heritage Hall in Rome, Ga at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2010.

Before the festival starts, we will be live on the FM airwaves with the Ridge Runners tomorrow around 7:40 am to discuss The Rome International Film Festival, etc. Radio users in NW GA: Tune in to us rocking out at 95.7! After the festival, Woodcreek’s own Muletide Perkins and his trio will rock the house at the RIFF after party. The fun starts at 10 pm at the 400 Block Bar on Broad Street in Rome, Ga!!!

Even though everyone may be really surprised by this loss, take solace in the fact that YouTube featured our video over the winners. Burn!

iPad is currently featured in the YouTube Recent Videos at the top of the results page anytime someone searches for “iPad” or “i Pad”. Whew! That was tough to explain. YouTube sure has changed over the years! We weren’t even aware of this feature area until we followed the YouTube’s link referrals. A cool honor nonetheless. We dig it!

A sketch by Rome-based comedy troupe Woodcreek Faction will be featured on Atom TV on Comedy Central tonight at 2:30 a.m. (early Tuesday).

According to the Atom TV Web site, “Wrong Tree, Wrong Time” is about what happens when Bob Ross, the famous happy tree painter, discovers a monkey in the tree he is painting. The sketch was a winner in the “showdown” section of Atom’s Web site.

Cast members of Woodcreek Faction are Greg Culberson, Jason Beck, Bryan Mullins, Eric Meek and Andrea Cerrito Lee.

We are releasing a widescreen version commemorates the one year anniversary of our popular short “Hitler Trick Bike!” We have been puzzled for sometime how YouTube would handle going to a player that is 16X9 with older video formats. Truth is they have done nothing. We felt this short deserved to be widescreen and we hope you do too! It looks amazing we think! The official one year rolls over on September 16th so check it out!
